One of the most common questions we’re asked is:
Where do you sit on the homeschooling — unschooling — radical unschooling spectrum?
I dig through a bunch of stuff to answer that – our unschooling approach, where it fits into the broader alternative education picture, and (spoiler) why I don’t think we’re either traditional homeschoolers or radical unschoolers. I touch on learning styles, curriculums, testing, screen time, and how far we personally go down the child autonomy path.
Is anyone else approaching things the way we do? Anyone doing things completely differently?
